Tasting Table Notes:  February 17th & 18th, February 24th & 25th
Simi Sauvignon Blanc
A crisp, light bodied wine, Simi Sauvignon Blanc is loaded with seasonal notes of key-lime, Meyer lemon, and citrus peel. The quintessential summer (or pretend it's summer!) wine, this will show nicely against some lightly dressed grilled shrimp and vegetables.

Loriella Pinot Grigio
Done in a more Americanized style (think the Pinot Gris from Oregon) Loriella Pinot Grigio is full of round, ripe tropical fruit tones of mango, tangerine, guava and honeydew melon. The lovely tropical notes in this wine will show nicely when paired with dishes involving white fish.

Sonoma Cuvee Chardonnay Russian River
From one of the most prestigious regions in Sonoma, this Chardonnay has medium oak, a lovely rich mouthfeel and beautiful notes of pear, peach, tropical fruit and freshly grilled toast. A healthy amount of acidity keeps everything lively and fresh. Try with roasted pork tenderloin and grilled asparagus.

Elios White
A proprietary blend of 50% Moschofilero (for soft flavors of honeydew melon) 30% Chardonnay (which contributes the green apple flavors) 10% Roditis (for zingy Meyer lemon like acidity) and 10% Savatiano (for the final touch of lilacs.) What, you've never had a Moschofilero, Chardonnay, Roditis, Savatiano blend?! Well come and check it out!

Ninety Plus Chardonnay Dry Creek Valley
One of the newest releases from from our old friends at Ninety-Plus, this wine has an oak frame to it, without being overpowering. A profile of kiwi, vanilla bean and Asian pear, mixes with notes of almond and nutmeg, which all serve to create one amazing (and amazingly priced!) Chardonnay.

Laurel Cellars Alexander Valley Cabernet
A fun and different California Cab, Laurel Cellars makes this wine from grapes grown in the Alexander Valley, creating a wine that is driven by lovely notes of lilac, thyme, mulling spices, cigars and leather. A less tannic wine, this is perfect for both the red wine novice and the experienced sipper. Try this with spicier meat dishes.

Lexicon Malbec
A more interesting, herbaceous style Malbec, Lexicon comes to the table with rustic notes of thyme, mulling spice, cinnamon, earth and tobacco. Still a big wine, try Lexicon with grilled steaks, roasted meats or brisket.

Coppola Diamond Merlot
A soft, medium bodied wine, the Coppola Diamond Merlot has flavors of mocha, red fruit, roasted chestnuts and a touch of crushed flowers. The tannins are well aligned and firm, which makes this a great pairing for simply marinated steaks.

The Culprit
Guilty of being unlawfully delicious, this wine is a proprietary blend of eight different grapes, all grown in the Sonoma coast, which come together to create one amazing wine. Inky purple in color, this is no small wine, with lush flavors of red raspberry, bittersweet chocolate and blackberry compote. Full bodied and rich, this will be a great accompaniment to dry-rubbed pork ribs.

Domaine de l'Oseraie Morgon
If the only Beaujolais that you've tried is the Nouveau that comes out in November, then prepare to have your taste-buds blown! A medium bodied wine, with inky dark color, the Domaine de l'Oseraie has lovely allspice, cola and cherry notes and is a wonderful accompaniment to roasted pork tenderloin.
